In my words of wisdom speech, I finished with lesson #9: Don't be scared to fly.
We all have crazy dreams, dreams that you might be too scared to share. But what you need to understand is that if that dream was put into your consciousness, it’s there for a reason. Move in the direction of your dreams. Also, don’t beat yourself up if you only take baby steps. I will be honest, I have been taking baby steps in the direction of my dreams my entire life. As long as you are moving forward, you will be happy that you kept moving. Also, don't expect for everyone to be sold out on your dream. It's your vision-- people won't understand what's in your head or what you believe about what you deserve until you show them. Protect your dream the same way you would nurture and love a child. Just like children, your dream will frustrate you and sometimes make you feel crazy, but at the end of the day there's nothing in the world that can replace the love you have for that child.
One day like the baby birds in a nest, you’ll look around, and you’ll say I’m ready…I’m ready to fly.
I saved lesson #9 for today because I am flying out to Liberia and this lesson also applies for us to step out of our comfort zones on a consistent basis, and live with an open mind and heart.
Outfit Time: When I was shopping for holiday gifts I got distracted and spotted these overalls. I have been wanting some overalls, and when I tried them on in the fitting room, I fell in love! They fit my body so well, and I also loved the cute little tear on the knees. The lace top was also a great find and putting it on with these overalls made the look complete.
