Hello, everyone!

My name is Kayra Alvarado and I am originally from Panama City, Panama.  My family moved to the United States when I was a young child, and I grew up in the Maryland/ DC metropolitan area.  I graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a Bachelor's in Spanish Language & Literature, a Master's in Education: Curriculum & Instruction, and a PhD In Second Language Education. 

I want to use this platform as an opportunity to showcase my passion for fashion, travel, home decor, a healthy lifestyle, education, and my efforts to maintain a work life balance. 

I hope to connect with you through my stories, in the hopes that they make you smile, laugh, reflect, and/or motivate you to pursue your own passions.
